What is the DDA?

The Digital Dental Academy Berlin GmbH is the world's largest CEREC training institute and stands for advanced, innovative training in CEREC technology.
From beginners to experienced experts, this is the ideal place to find the ideal conditions for training tailored to its needs. In addition to national courses, international continuing education events are also held in the national languages.
Under the direction of Dr. Klaus Wiedhahn, eleven renowned CEREC experts and speakers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have joined forces in DDA GmbH to present a broad spectrum of outstanding advanced training courses for international practitioners in DDA Berlin.

Dentists, dental assistants and dental technicians can expand and deepen their knowledge here. DDA-Berlin is the forum for ISCD CEREC trainers and mentors.
The extraordinary technical equipment and the close cooperation with the developers of the technology enable the participants to participate in the latest CEREC developments.

History of the DDA

Together with the engineer Marco Brandistini, Prof. Dr. Werner Mörmann developed an intraoral scanner in combination with a grinding machine in the mid-1980s to fabricate and integrate ceramic restorations in one treatment session. More than 20 years since its invention, the CEREC system has been the only chairside system in the world that could fabricate and integrate a ceramic restoration within a single treatment session.

The learning experience

In times of online manuals and webinars, personal hands-on training no longer seems appropriate. The complex technology between dentistry and dental technology can only be applied effortlessly and perfectly in daily practice through intensive learning, experience and training during one of the many 2-day courses. A generously dimensioned equipment pool with CEREC equipment of the latest generation, 3D X-ray equipment, treatment units, laboratory workstations, furnaces, the latest milling units and much more is exclusively at your disposal.
Only those who have mastered CEREC technology can use it responsibly and safely.

The science - DGCZ & ISCD

The scientific management is in the hands of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Computergestützte Zahnheilkunde (DGCZ e.V.), the association of practitioners and university lecturers founded in 1992, which, together with the International Society of Computerized Dentistry (ISCD), has trained all leading CEREC trainers and users.
